Breaking The Stigma Of Mental Health Illness & Awareness In Our Community
Our Mission
"Our mission at ForeVer Healing is to empower African American males to achieve lifelong mental health and wellbeing through accessible, compassionate, and culturally responsive care. We are dedicated to breaking down stigmas surrounding mental health in our community and providing a safe and supportive environment for healing, growth, and transformation."
"Our vision at ForeVer Healing is to create a world where African American fathers and male caregivers have the tools, resources, and support they need to be strong, confident, and nurturing parents who prioritize their own mental health and wellbeing. Through our innovative programs and services, we aim to build a culture of resilience and self-care that empowers men to break the cycles of trauma and generational poverty, and cultivate healthy relationships with themselves, their families, and their communities."
Our Story
Welcome to ForeVer Healing, a nonprofit 501c3 organization dedicated to improving the lives of African American men through mental health services, parenting skills training, substance abuse counseling, and community involvement. We are founded by KJ Cash, who created this organization in memory of his late wife, Veronica Robinson, who passed away suddenly leaving a major void in her family and community.
Veronica was a devoted mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt and educator who spent her life advocating for education and mental health awareness and resources for African American families. After her passing, KJ was determined to honor her legacy by continuing this work and creating a safe and supportive space for Black men to receive the help and care they need.

At ForeVer Healing, we believe that mental health is a critical component of overall wellness, and we are committed to providing comprehensive services to address the unique needs of African American men. Our mental health services include individual counseling, group therapy, and psycho-education workshops, all of which are designed to help our clients cope with stress, trauma, and other mental health challenges.

We also recognize that fathers play a critical role in their families, and we offer parenting skills training and support to help Black men become more engaged and involved fathers. This includes workshops on topics such as effective communication, positive discipline, and building strong relationships with their children.

Substance abuse is another area where African American men are disproportionately affected, and we offer counseling and support to those who are struggling with addiction. Our substance abuse counseling services are designed to be compassionate, non-judgmental, and focused on harm reduction and relapse prevention.

Community involvement is also a key part of our approach at ForeVer Healing. We believe that Black men can thrive when they are connected to their communities and have opportunities to give back. That’s why we offer volunteer opportunities and community service projects, as well as leadership development training.

At the heart of our organization is a supportive support group, where African American men can connect with each other, share their experiences, and offer each other support and encouragement. We also provide aftercare services to ensure that our clients have ongoing support and resources as they continue on their healing journey.

We are inspired by Veronica’s commitment to education, mental health advocacy and her legacy of community service, and we are honored to continue this work in her memory. Thank you for your interest in ForeVer Healing – we invite you to explore our website and learn more about our services and how we are making a difference in the lives of African American men.
